Any practitioner needs to periodically communicate with students at least in order to understand whether they need everything that you work hard on, whether they want to do the same thing that is your "favorite business". Speaking to the students of KNUTD, I understood that it was possible to talk about logistics only in very general phrases, i.e. it is not their core subject. We talked a lot about the skills and knowledge that a logistician should have, especially about the skill of communication, as the most important in his work. Most of all, they perked up when I started talking about how to write a resume, what common phrases to avoid and why. At the end of the conversation, they thanked - it means that everyone liked it :)
